These terms govern your use of the Aspect Adventure website and any travel arrangement we make on your behalf. By using the site or booking with us you agree to them.

1. About us

Aspect Adventure (Pvt) Ltd is a Sri Lankan travel atelier with offices at 42 Galle Road, Colombo 03. We act as agent and tour operator for the bespoke journeys we design.

2. Bookings

An itinerary becomes a confirmed booking once you sign our trip confirmation document and pay a 30% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due 45 days before your arrival in Sri Lanka.

3. Pricing

All prices are quoted per person in US dollars unless otherwise stated, based on two travellers sharing. Single supplements, peak-season surcharges (December 20–January 5, Easter, July–August) and government taxes will be itemised in your written quote.

4. Cancellation by you

More than 60 days before arrival: full refund minus the 30% deposit.
60–30 days before arrival: 50% refund.
Less than 30 days before arrival: no refund. We strongly recommend travel insurance.

5. Cancellation by us

If we cancel a journey for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund. If a journey is interrupted by force majeure (natural disaster, civil unrest, pandemic, etc.) we will offer the maximum refund our suppliers permit, plus assistance arranging alternative travel.

6. Travel insurance

Travel insurance covering medical, evacuation, cancellation and personal-effects loss is mandatory for every traveller. You agree to have a valid policy in place before arrival.

7. Health, visas, passports

You are responsible for ensuring your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates, that you hold the correct ETA / visa for Sri Lanka, and that you have any vaccinations required for your trip. We can advise but cannot apply on your behalf.

8. Conduct on tour

We expect respectful behaviour towards local people, religious sites, and wildlife. We reserve the right to terminate a journey without refund where a traveller's behaviour endangers others or breaks Sri Lankan law.

9. Liability

We act in good faith to select reputable suppliers (hotels, drivers, guides, airlines). We are not liable for loss caused by their actions or by events beyond our reasonable control. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected portion of the journey.

10. Intellectual property

All photographs, itineraries, written content and design on this website are the property of Aspect Adventure or used under licence. You may not copy, republish or commercially redistribute without written permission.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be settled in the courts of Colombo.
