Aspect Adventure (Pvt) Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every traveller who visits this website or enquires about our journeys. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Aspect Adventure is a private travel atelier registered in Sri Lanka. Our office is at 42 Galle Road, Colombo 03. For privacy questions, contact hello@aspectadventure.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us — name, email, phone, country, travel preferences, dates and message content when you submit an inquiry, newsletter signup, or contact form.
Booking information — passport details, dietary preferences, hotel preferences, payment data (processed by our regulated payment partner; we never store full card numbers).
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, referrer (logged for security and basic analytics).

3. How we use it

To respond to inquiries and design itineraries
To process bookings, transfers, and supplier reservations
To send relevant travel updates while you are on a trip we have planned
To send our newsletter (only if you've subscribed — easy unsubscribe in every email)
To improve our website and services
To meet legal and tax obligations under Sri Lankan law

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary data with: the hotels, drivers, guides and airlines providing parts of your journey; our payment processor; our email-sending platform; and government authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your data to anyone.

5. International transfers

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your data may be transferred to Sri Lanka where we operate. We use standard contractual safeguards to protect it.

6. How long we keep it

Inquiry data: up to 24 months unless you book. Booking and tax records: 7 years (Sri Lanka tax law requires this). Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Email hello@aspectadventure.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when the most recent version came into effect.
